Brothers & Sisters,

On behalf of the Stake Single Adult Committee we are pleased to announce a new initiative in support of our Single Adults (31+) within the Katy Stake.  A number of our Single Adults have expressed a desire to have an opportunity for gospel instruction and discussion.  Many were recently in Institute as YSA's and miss that experience.  Others may never have been involved in Institute; but would like to have an "Institute-like" opportunity and see the value of coming together to strengthen their understanding and testimonies of the Gospel.

In this regard we will be testing a Monthly Single Adult Devotional program.   Some particulars -

What:  The Monthly Single Adult Devotional is designed for all Single Adults(31+) in the Katy Stake and is focused on strengthening Gospel understanding and testimonies.

When: Devotionals will be held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm [NOTE:  The first class will begin on June 13th]

Where: Bear Creek Building - Relief Society Room

Curriculum:  The course of study will be taken from the most current General Conference talks.

Attached you will find a flyer that can be used to communicate this program to the Single Adults within your units and organizations. We ask for your support to help get the word out and to build a critical mass of participants to allow the program to get off the ground.   We will be providing more information and updates as we move through the organizational process.

We are very excited about this effort and believe our Single Adult's will be blessed by this opportunity.

Best regards,

Dave Hansen - Stake Single Adult High Council Advisor
